The Projects Team at Regimanuel Gray Ltd (RGL), led by Group Managing Director Mr Ibrahim Bah, paid a working visit to the Company’s roadworks project site christened, Opponso-Esaase-Kyebi Feeder Road Phase I & II in the Central Region.
The two-day visit was primarily to allow the technical team at RGL to assess, first-hand, the progress of works per the programme schedule of the project. The Project Manager of RGL, Mr Daniel Kofi Adjei, detailed the list of completed and ongoing works during his team briefing ahead of the inspection by the team. In his response, Mr Bah expressed satisfaction that the progress made at the time of the visit was highly commendable.
The 12km feeder road Project, which started in 2021, consists of upgrading the existing gravel road to a surface dressed single carriageway with drains. The supervising body is the Department of Feeder Roads and the Project is expected to be completed by end of 2022. Phase I of the project is about 50% completed whiles phase II was assessed to be 45% completed.
Atobease, Fawomayo and Esaase are some of the towns – which are mostly farming and small scale mining communities – that are benefiting from this road project.
At the heart of what makes RGL Projects tick, is incisive oversight and close monitoring to ensure that projects run smoothly and stay on schedule. Having built a solid teamwork culture, the Company is able to achieve this seamlessly for both onsite and offsite teams. In view of this, the team has scheduled another site visit for the end third quarter of 2022.
